DESCRIPTION:

The prophet Isaiah gives a prophetic word for our times, our day, of a great apostasy in the Church. It is a church that desires the material comforts of the world and is complacent about compromise and attempts to serve mammon and the Lord. It has no desire to hear of sin or of the Cross. The apostate Church does not want to repent. It seeks a word of prosperity; it is a church of convenience, with the mindset of, “What I can get from God and still live with idols of the world?” But there is a promise to smash it all down and the remnant of true believers with have streams of water that will flow before them. The apostate Church represents the battle between our flesh and our call to righteousness; however the Lord will grant us the victory.
