DESCRIPTION:

God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. Sometimes, God allows us to experience dark nights of the soul. This darkness is not caused by the flesh or sin—they are times of emotional darkness. These times are where you feel alone, frightened, and you seem to lose your sense of direction. Others around you seem happy and blessed, but you are struggling. The good news is that there is no darkness to Him! The light is there but we just can't see it. We need to trust Him, believing He will bring us out. He can see the path ahead of us. The result of walking through this season of darkness is that we will have the light of the Lord shine upon us and He will be the glory and the lifter of our head.
